Mr. Kris Gyeongjin GHIL 

Mr. Kris Gyeongjin GHIL is a Chairman of IIPCC Korea Chapter. He is also CEO of NEP finance, whose work is focused on providing the listed companies with investment advisory and financing services. He used to be a Managing Director and Country Manager of Korea at Pi Capital where he focuses on advising clients who are interested in overseas transactions in Korea. Mr. Ghil has over 23 years of management consulting, venture capital, investment banking and government experiences. Prior to Pi Capital, Mr. Ghil was a Representative fund manager of the Sovik Global Contents fund at Sovik Venture Capital and previously worked as a CEO and CFO at the Chorokbaem Media, one of the largest drama production companies in Korea. Prior to his drama producing career, Mr. Ghil worked at Advanced Business Link where he provided companies with management consulting, venture incubation and investment banking services as a CEO. Prior to ABL, Mr. Ghil work at the LG Chemical as a senior manager in charge of management innovation team. Prior to LG Chemical, Mr. Ghil worked at the Monitor Company as a senior consultant. Mr. Ghil began his career as a government officer of the Ministry of Finance and Economy and the National Tax Office in Korea. 


Mr. Ghil holds an L.L.M. and M.P.A. from the Seoul National University and a B.S. in Economics from the Seoul National University

Prof. Chul CHOI (崔哲) 

Prof. Chul CHOI (å´” å“²) is the Vice-Chair of IIPCC Korea Chapter. He is a professor of law at the Law School of Hankuk University of Foreign Studies (HUFS) and a co-chair of IIPCC Korea. Prof. Choi has been involved in IP policy in Korea and conducted research with regard to IP Finance. He was an expert committee member of the Intellectual Property Policy Council of Prime Minister’s Office and the Presidential Council on Intellectual Property Policy of Korea. He also acted as a non-executive director of Intellectual Discovery, a major IP specialized company with financial asset management subsidiary co., established by the Korean government and major Korean corporations. Prof. Choi co-authored a book, IP Finance: Structure and Case of IP Business Model and Finance, published in Korea by KIIP and in China by IPPH, respectively, under governmental sponsorship. He is also qualified as a Barrister-at-Law in England and Wales. Before joining HUFS Law School as a professor, he practiced law at an international law firm, Allen & Overy LLP, in London and Hong Kong. He holds degrees of LLM in Intellectual Property Law and LLM in International Finance Law from the University of London. He also graduated from Seoul National University and earned MBA in International Business and BA in Management.

Prof. "Jeff" Jianfeng YANG

Prof. Jianfeng YANG is a co-founders and Vice-chairman of  the IIPCC Shanghai chapter.

 

His PhD is in International IP Law, and is currently serving as a Senior Prosecutor in Shanghai. He has spent more than 10 years on IP academics career. He published three books and over sixty articles meanwhile gained various IP practice experiences. He served as an official at Shanghai IP administration (SIPA), IP Counsel in law firms and Deputy Secretary in a local IP association. He is also an IP Researcher in two think-tankers. He is recognized as a China IP expert with outstanding contribution in Shanghai.
