WIPO is the global forum for intellectual property services, policy, information and cooperation. We are a self-funding agency of the United Nations, with 188 member states.

Their mission is to lead the development of a balanced and effective international intellectual property (IP) system that enables innovation and creativity for the benefit of all. Our mandate, governing bodies and procedures are set out in the WIPO Convention, which established WIPO in 1967.

APEC China Business Council (ABAC) with support from the China International Trade Promotion Committee is a non-profit business organization.The goals for ABAC are (i) to encourage Chinese
business community participating in the APEC process, providing positive guidance for the development of China and the Asia-Pacific region’s economic and trade policies, in order to create the freedom and convenience of trade, investment environment, and (ii) to establish and improve a business platform for promoting exchanges and cooperation between enterprises under the APEC framework of
Chinese.
The Pacific Basin Economic Council (pbec) believes that through cooperation and the exchange of ideas, the private sector and government can promote significant growth and prosperity in Asia Pacific. Independent, apolitical, and pro-business, the Pacific Basin Economic Council aspires to be a catalyst in the promotion of regional economic integration and growth.

The IP Academy (Singapore) is a national initiative dedicated to the deepening and broadening of Singapore’s knowledge and capabilities in Intellectual Property (IP) protection, exploitation and management.

Given the value and importance of intellectual assets and creativity as primary sources of wealth and competitive advantage, the IP Academy aims to build a thriving culture that encourages the management and harnessing of innovation, and the resultant IP rights for the achievement of success in this global knowledge-driven economy.

The IP Academy’s roles include building capacity for the growth of the IP services industry, and organising IP thought leadership activities through conferences and roundtables, positioning Singapore as an IP hub.

The Intellectual Asset Management magazine (IAM) is a bimonthly magazine published in English and focused on “intellectual property from a business point of view”. Its publisher is Globe White Page Ltd, andits tagline is “Maximising IP value for business”. Its first issue was published in 2003 (July/August 2003 issue).
IAM is one of the publications produced by The IP Media Group, which was formed in 2008. The group also publishes World Trademark Review, a magazine for trademark specialists, organizes the IP Business Congress and runs the IP Hall of Fame.
